Welcome! I'm so glad you found your way here. Please read on to see if I could be a good fit for things you are wanting to explore and be curious about, and/or are struggling with. People don't have to be in crisis to come to therapy; oftentimes, those who contact me are managing feelings that have been building up over time. I have niche experience working with medical professionals such as physicians, nurses and medical trainees and directed a program at UNMC aimed at understanding burnout. I enjoy working with college and graduate students, international students, as well as young adults in general in addition to adults. I completed my APA internship and postdoc in the Penn Healthcare System where I saw a variety of people and have also worked with with students at counseling centers like MIT and UPenn. I had training at a school as well and though I don't work with kids, I like working with new parents. I believe that addressing feelings and understanding where they stem from, and how to manage them, can help people navigate life's challenges in relationships, work, school, and beyond. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, emotionally rich and confidential environment for individuals to explore what's on their mind. Collaborating on other areas of your life that you may want to examine, such as your relationships with others (romantic, friendship, personal, professional) is something I find joy in. I completed my dissertation on the topic of "bromance," and even though few people might call dissertations "fun," I'm so grateful I was able to explore this topic fully. I enjoy what I do. If you think I could be a good fit, I truly look forward to hearing from you. |
