I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology, now William James College. I have a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Temple University and a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and English Writing from the University of Pittsburgh. I completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology and a Predoctoral Internship in Clinical Psychology at Pennsylvania Hospital, and was also a Fellow at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia.
I was an Adjunct Professor at Temple University and I was an Assistant Professor and Director of Behavioral Health Wellness Education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). At UNMC I helped establish a Wellness Program for medical professionals and trainees. I have done training at a few college counseling centers, including MIT and CAPS at UPenn. I obtained a certificate in Mind Body Medicine (mindfulness and meditation) from the Benson Henry Institute, which is affiliated with MGH and Harvard Medical School. I was a recipient of the Division 39 Young Career Scholarship Award. |
